This teacher training course is designated as one that follows Yoga Alliance’s standards (RYS200). After completing the program, the students can register in International Yoga Alliance USA Organization as RYT200.

Boasting a long experience in teacher training programs, Anahata Yoga Studio and Elena Mouratidou are organizing a full training program with more than 200 hours of training for the students who want to delve into the practice and teaching of yoga and the holistic lifestyle.  This program is inspired by the traditional Indian philosophy and yoga practice (Hatha-Raja Yoga) and functions greatly in combination with the yoga practice adapted to the contemporary individual of the 21st century.

In this training we will study a great variety of subjects as, for example, the yoga asana (yoga poses), breathing techniques that balance the nervous system, the therapeutic yoga approach, yoga history and philosophy, meditation, deep relaxation techniques, yoga as a form of exercise, a balanced diet etc.

What makes this particular training STAND OUT is:

  1. The significantly knowledgeable teachers of each and every subject, whose goal is to render our students able to enjoy the benefits of a proper and complete education.
  2. The structure and thoroughness of the program so that the students may be able to teach transformative yoga classes in the most safe and efficient manner.
  3. The possibility for the students to participate in an interactive and experiential program. They do not simply learn, they actually experience everything and this is what makes our students stand out at an international level!
  4. The teacher team’s long experience in training programs in Greece and abroad, with hundreds of their students all around the world having grown into amazing yoga teachers!
  5. The whole teacher team continues its own training in “Train the Trainer” programs next to renowned yoga teachers without ever getting tired or losing their initial enthusiasm. The team always evolves so that it can offer the most amazing teaching experience to our students.
  6. The commitment of out team to the yogic system as a lifestyle and not only as another form of exercise.
  7. Our commitment to supporting our students with numerous tools, practices that will make them meet their own best version, which they will actually share in the end with their very students, if and when they decide to teach.
  8. The great employment that our students enjoy in the local and global market.
  9. The establishment of a team, whose members continue to support each other even after the end of the training program.
  10. The priority and the reduced price that our graduates are offered for the 500hr Advanced Yoga Teacher Training of the Anahata Yoga Studio, as well as the for the other training programs of our academy.
  11. The outcome – of course! The joy, the transformation, the spark of our students and their impressive self-development. Their own voice, their own experiences in the training constitute for us the best evidence that this program truly stands out!

“It was the best training program that I have ever taken part in. It changed my whole life and I have reconsidered almost everything. Having such teachers and mentors, it is impossible to enter this circle and leave it being the same! They have given me life tools! But even in asana analysis I have received a solid basis in order to start teaching my lessons! Thanks to each and everyone of you! You have the perfect recipe and team to offer the best yoga teachers!

 Katerina Theodoropoulou

“A new way, a path that I haven’t even realized it exists unfolded before me. It is about a journey through which I felt how close I am to discovering my own truth and how “blind” I am at the same time. How all that is obvious has been neglected during my daily routine and how at last I took a BREATH. Through this particular teacher training I have understood what they say, that yoga is not just a form of exercise. With eyes shut, I flew much higher than I could ever imagine! Thank you.”

Sylvia Kehayia

Having completed the 200hr yoga teacher training program, I feel full of gratitude that I had the chance to come closer to the anahata team and to meet different teachers, but most importantly amazing people, full of passion for yoga, offering motivation and inspiration to all of us, for whom this yoga journey has just begun. The most magical thing about this journey is that the knowledge and the experience have been granted to us wholeheartedly and selflessly, making it crystal clear what “sangha” really means.”

Ifigeneia Perraki

The journey that I have gone through during the Online 200hr Yoga Teacher Training has literally changed my life! It was so deep, experiential, revealing, amazing! I feel so much gratitude and joy that I have met such distinguished teachers and human beings that gave me the right skills and tools to move on as a person and as a proper yoga teacher. A great once in a lifetime experience! And the journey goes on!
