Advanced Yoga 500h Teacher Training Course

The specific training program is certified by Yoga Alliance USA (RYS 500). Each trainee can register with Yoga Alliance USA upon completion of the program as RYT 500.
 
Advanced Yoga 500h Teacher Training is a complete training program, organized by Anahata Yoga Academy, with more than 500 hours of training for experienced yoga teachers who want to delve into the science of yoga and the holistic ways of therapy. It consists of a series of twelve independent modules/workshops that combine the traditional teachings with a modern way of living.
The most well trained and specialized teachers have been chosen for each training module, so that the trainees can enjoy the benefits of a proper and complete education.
The program can be completed in one or two academic years and each trainee can choose either the whole program (all 12 modules), or parts of it depending on his/hers needs. Also a trainee can start the program with any of the twelve module. In order to achieve the certification of the Advanced Yoga 500h Teacher Training Course a trainee has to complete all twelve modules of the training program.

Location:
The place of conduct of the program is the Anahata Yoga Studio, in Thessaloniki.
Prerequisites:
1. The specific program is addressed to experienced yoga teachers who have completed at least 200 hours of training. The certificate is required via email to [email protected] before the inception of the program.
2. At least 50 hours of teaching experience in group or private classes.
3. Complete registration form (can be downloaded from the website)
4. Private meeting with the director of the program Elena Mouratidou.
5. Payment in advance in order to reserve the participation.
6. Certification by a General Physician or Cardiologist which allows the trainee to practice any kind of physical exercise / yoga valid for 2018/2019.

12. Internship

  1. Each training module includes some preparation tasks which are sent to the trainee as soon as he registers for the particular module.
  2. Upon the completion of the eleven training modules and in order to receive a certification of the Advanced Yoga 500h Teacher Training Course, the trainee will have to carry out specific hours of personal study and practice, the contents of which will be given in detail with the trainee’s enrollment in the training program.

Certification

:
Students who will successfully attend the entire training program (all the eleven modules), completing all the necessary tasks given as a preparation before each module, completing the Internship, are certified as yoga teachers (Advanced Level) by Anahata Yoga Academy and can teach both in Greece and abroad. They will receive the official diploma which certificates that the have successfully completed the “Advanced Yoga 500h Teacher Training Course”.
***The particular program is certified by the international organization Yoga Alliance USA (RYS 500)
If they wish, the trainees can proceed with their registration at the International Yoga Alliance USA Organization as Yoga Alliance RYT 500.

Investment

The investment includes all the notes that will be given in the beginning of each module. A folder for all the notes will be given in advance (module 4 does not include notes since this particular module include mostly personal practice and teaching).
The investment also include all the material for the Internship, the Assisting, the Mentoring, audiovisual material and all the texts that are sent to the trainees via email.

Cancellation Policy

  • Advance payments are not refundable.
  • In case of cancellation up to one month prior to the beginning of the training, the entire amount of money is refunded, except for the deposit.
  • In case of cancellation less than a month before the training, the amount of money is non-refundable.
